PDF & Image tools
Compress PDFs and images, make one PDF from many files, or crop photos. Everything runs in your browser — files are never uploaded.
How it works: each page is rendered to an image and re-saved as JPEG. Auto tries progressively stronger settings until the file is under the target size. Manual uses exactly the quality and scale you pick (Original is about 144 dpi; 75%, 50% and 35% scale that down) — the result may be bigger or smaller than 10 MB, so check the size shown. Because pages become images, text in the new file can no longer be selected or searched. The original file is never modified.
How it works: Auto lowers the quality just enough to reach your target size and, if that is not enough, also scales the image down in small steps. Manual uses exactly the quality and size you pick, whatever the resulting file size. Transparent areas (PNG) become white. Animated GIFs keep only their first frame. EXIF data such as GPS location is removed. Originals are never modified.
PDFs are copied in as they are, so their text stays selectable. Photos each become one page. Word files are converted to pages in the browser — this is an approximation (fonts, headers/footers and complex layouts can differ, and the text on those pages becomes part of an image). Only .docx is supported, not old .doc. If the compress option kicks in, the whole result is turned into images like in PDF Compress. Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged.
Drag on the picture to draw a crop box, drag inside it to move it, drag the squares to resize. Pick a shape to lock the proportions. Cropping keeps the full original resolution of the selected area. EXIF data such as GPS location is removed on save, and cropped JPEGs get a white background where the picture was transparent. Overwrite only works in Chrome/Edge when you add files with the “click to choose” button or by dragging them in from your computer (the browser then asks for permission to write). It is not available for GIF/BMP, and it is also unavailable in some embedded views — in that case use Save as new file. Overwriting cannot be undone.
